With your trailer having a Bulldog coupler you will want to select one of the following locks.
Blaylock EZ Lock Gooseneck Coupler Lock # BLTL-50-40D
EZ Lock Gooseneck Coupler Lock Combo # BLTL-53-40D2
AMPLock Trailer Coupler Lock # AMP69FR
The AMPLock Trailer Coupler Lock # AMP49FR you found is specifically for Atwood and flat nose couplers. view full answer...
Serge, there actually is not a coupler lock that will work with the Demco Slide-Lok Trailer Coupler # D05557-95. This already has a lock built in so you really wouldn't need one. But, you are going to need the Buyers Products Heavy Duty Channel Bolt and Nut Kit # 337B9021 to actually install it to the channel. view full answer...
Based on your description it sounds like you have the Dexter Zinc-Plated, Leverlock Coupler # T4845000. However, I have no way to be sure without additional information. If you have a pin running through it then you could use the # e98888 which has a 3-3/8" span and 1/4" diameter.
You could also use a lock like the Fastway Universal Coupler Lock # FA86-0015-317. This is a surround style lock that fits 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" ball couplers with a max width of 4-1/2". view full answer...
Hey Barb, so gooseneck coupler locks are a bit more specific than other coupler locks so unless you could send me a picture or brand/model of the coupler the best option I could give you right now would be a wheel lock like the etrailer Wheel Lock part # 288-02020. view full answer...
Hey John, thanks for the picture of the coupler on your Demco tow dolly # DM9713093. Since the coupler style is an EZ latch the InfiniteRule Lock part # IR66FR would fit it and work great to lock it. view full answer...
Hello Erik, it certainly is possible to convert your trailer from surge brakes over to electric-over-hydraulic (EOH) brakes. Basically, all you will need to add is an EOH disc brake actuator # HBA16 and a wiring kit # HS381-9000. The wiring kit contains everything you need to install and wire in the actuator, including a junction box for your connections. You will simply attach the brake line from your surge coupler to the Hydrastar actuator.
As long as the current surge actuator is still... view full answer...
Hi Ed,
If I'm understanding you correctly your trailer's frame is 3" wide and the coupler needs to have a 2" ball. If so the Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # DM15000-52 you were looking at would be a compatible fit. I've attached a little diagram below showing the bolt pattern so that you can check if it will match up to the current pattern so you can avoid drilling into the frame.
If you instead have different sizing or need something different then let me know and I'd be happy... view full answer...
Hi Greg,
While we do not have that exact coupler, we do have an option for a hydraulic disc brake actuator with a 2-5/16" coupler that is primed to be painted, from Demco:
- Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc - Primed - 2-5/16" Ball # DM8204702
The # DM8204702 has a 20,000 lb capacity, fits a 3" wide trailer tongue, and has a 20,000 lb capacity. view full answer...
I am not sure what kind of scooter you have but the smallest trailer we have that will fit your German Shepard is the Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer item # K2MMT4X6. It measures 4' wide by 6' long and has a 1-7/8" coupler. view full answer...
Hi Ralf,
Yes, the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # AM3200 would be compatible with a Lippert Rhino Box. The only rule that the manufacturer has is that it can't be used with rotating pin boxes so you're good to go. view full answer...
Thanks for the photos, Michel!
It looks like you need the Dexter Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator which comes fit for up to 12.5K trailers with 2-5/16" couplers, both for Drum # T2477600 and Disc # T4750800 brake applications. view full answer...
Hey Rob,
Yes, the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045 would be able to mount to the gooseneck ball in your B&W Turnoverball hitch. You'll just need to remove the coupler pin and drop the base of the hitch down on the hitch ball and then you can replace the pin. You will also need to tighten the bolts of the front of the hitch to fully secure it to the hitch ball and prevent rattling. view full answer...
Hey Samuel, the Blue Ox Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BLU52XR is not compatible with the overbed style folding gooseneck balls. The overbed plate would prevent the base from making full contact with the bed of the truck. Blue Ox is very specific that the base must make full contact with the bed in order to use the adapter.
An adapter that will be compatible with the overbed folding gooseneck ball is the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100.... view full answer...
We do have a potential solution for you. Unfortunately, the swing away actuators like the one on your 2005 Mastercraft trailer have been discontinued, so I am afraid there is no direct replacement, or anything that will fit inside the current swing away.
At this point we would have to recommend replacing the tongue of the trailer entirely, all the way down to the swing away. For a replacement option I recommend the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX89FR. This has... view full answer...
Yes, since the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches # 63232 is designed to work with 2" trailer hitches and the Roadmaster Anti-Rattle Hitch Extender for Tow Bars # RM-071-1075 is a 2" hitch accessory, the two will be compatible. view full answer...
The BOLT Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # BLT99FR is rated for a gross trailer weight of 16,000 lbs and a tongue weight of 1,600 lbs. If you are needing something with a higher capacity check out the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock # 34061074-D. This will also fit up to a 3" Ford receiver and has a stainless steel construction. It has a sheer strength rating of 42,000lbs. view full answer...
Unfortunately no, Tom. The 5" Offset Ball for Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # 19308 only works with Bulldog, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, and Reese Hide-A-Goose gooseneck trailer hitches.
For your Curt Double-Lock, you'll want to use the Curt 4" Offset Ball for Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitch # C602.
You'll notice this one has a 4" offset, but that's because they don't offer a 5" offset version, so this is the best we can do. view full answer...
The etrailer 5th Wheel King Pin Lock # e49PR has a 2-1/8" span to fit standard 5th wheel trailer king pins, which will typically be 2" in diameter. This would clamp to the smaller portion of the king pin where the 5th wheel trailer hitch jaws would typically sit. view full answer...
The # 8-247-50UC3-EZ and # AKHD-545-35-G-EZ-K will both fit and work with your 13" wheels. These are also compatible with the # 40716-15 from your previous question. For the most part it comes down to cost between the two hub/drum assemblies. However, since this will be going in the water on your boat trailer I would stick with the Dexter which has the 500-hour salt spray rating.
The Hydraulic Brake Kit # AKFBBRK-35-D will work with your 13" wheels but I would stick with the Demco. The... view full answer...
